This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful, non-automotive manufacturer as the Plant Controller! You'll lead a small team and manage all accounting activities for the plant. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing, coaching and mentoring a small team in the accounting department
• Leading the site budgeting and forecasting processes
• Overseeing the cash flow process
• Completing financial analysis on a regular basis
• Extracting data and generating reports in the ERP system
• Leading the month and year-end closing process
• Completing journal entries and reconciliation
• Collaborating with team members to maintain and improve accounting processes
• Other duties as directed by management

Requirements for the Plant Controller:

• Ideally a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree
• Minimum of 5 years of lead accounting experience, ideally in a similar Plant Controller or Accounting Manager role in manufacturing
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Month-end and year-end closing
• Strong financial analysis
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Microsoft Excel Skills preferred but NOT required
• Supervision
• Power BI
• Payroll

Candidates are preferred to be local to the Findlay, Ohio area; there is not a relocation package available at this time.
