Automotive Technician - Flat Rate / Flag

Overview Group 1 Automotive is actively seeking experienced Automotive Technicians (Flag/Flat-Rate) to join our Houston-area dealerships! Responsibilities Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs Adhereto all company safety policies and procedures Providetimelyupdates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication. Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as a flat-rate (flag) automotive technician with proven production and diagnostic ability (dealership preferred) National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s) in different specialized areas such as brakes, electrical/electronic systems or engine performance strongly preferred Manufacturer certifications are a strong plus!
