CNC Machinist

Are you a precision-driven machinist looking to manufacture critical components for the aerospace, power generation, and military sectors? We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our client’s world-class manufacturing facility. In this role, you will work with advanced alloys and complex geometries to produce high-performance parts that meet the most rigorous industry standards.

Position – CNC Machinist

Job Location – Mayville

Starting Date – ASAP

Employment Term – Direct Hire

Employment Type – Full time

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st shift

Starting Pay –$25 to $35 per hour

Required Experience –3+ years of CNC experience

Responsibilities

• Setup and Operation: Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes (3-axis and 5-axis) to perform complex machining operations.
• Technical Execution: Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces.
• Quality Control: Conduct first-piece inspections and monitor production using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure 100% accuracy.
• Optimization: Adjust machine offsets and tooling to maintain quality and improve cycle efficiency.
• Safety & Maintenance: Perform routine machine maintenance and adhere to all strict safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in CNC machining, preferably within a heavy industrial or aerospace environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in reading G-code and M-code; experience with Fanuc or Siemens controls is a plus.
• Precision: Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods in a fast-paced production environment.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or journeyman card preferred.
