Program Manager

Overview The position(s) covered by this vacancy announcement is in the Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo). This position is part of the Department of Defense (DoD), Missile Defense Agency (MDA). The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the Directorate for Acquisition (DA) as a Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Senior Program Analyst. Responsibilities The incumbent will carry out the following duties: Provide knowledge and insight in support of Strategic Planning for a major program office. Develop, evaluate, and assess strategic planning policies and processes. Provide support to Mid and Senior Acquisition Analysts, including Foreign Military Sales (FMS). Assist with the management of daily execution of technical, schedule, and cost requirements; monitor and manage cradle-to-grave acquisition programs including scope, schedule of work, cost, payment schedules, financial services, etc. Liaise with key community personnel to ensure effective and responsive execution. Qualifications Applicants may qualify at the NH‑04 Broadband Level if they have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH‑03/GS‑13 grade level in the Federal service and meet at least three of the following five specialized experiences: Provide knowledge and insight in support of Strategic Planning for a major program office. Eligible Experience Experience includes paid, unpaid, and volunteer work. Volunteer work through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations contributes to qualifying competencies and knowledge.
