Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. In this position, you will interpret shop drawings and to accurately weld structural components and parts. This is an integral part of the construction process, as it provides a strong infrastructure foundation. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with great attention to detail and proven experience as a Welder.  A welding test is required, and base pay depends on the outcome of the test.

Apply in person:  Monday - Friday 8am to 11am or 12:30pm to 2pm - a welding test is required, bring welding helmet, welding gloves, wear steel toe shoes and safety glasses

Responsibilities 

• Read and interpret shop drawings, and schematics
• Plan layout and measurements of structural components on table to be welded
• Interpret requirements to select the most appropriate welding equipment for the job
• Operate angle grinders, calipers, rulers, and other hand and power tools
• Use manual and semi-automatic welding equipment

Qualifications

• Previous employed experience as a Welder
• Detail oriented with ensuring precise work and spotting flaws
• Experience with mathematical skills and knowledge of welding processes
• Ability to read and interpret prints, schematics, and other technical documents and drawings
• Understanding of all health and safety guidelines and wearing protective gear
• Effective communication with coworkers and bosses
