Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse in Portland, Maine. This position involves providing specialized surgical nursing care within a Level One Trauma Center, focusing on Gynecology and Genitourinary procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position requires a minimum of three years of experience and competence in Robotics (Davinci Xi), among other skills. The shifts are days from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a commitment of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: At least 2 years of experience; minimum 3 years of level 1 trauma training; Certification: RNC preferred; Vaccinations: Flu vaccination required.
• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Experience with surgical nursing, Robotics (Davinci Xi), PCNLs, Nephrectomy's, Ureteral Reimplants, Hysterectomy's, Cystectomy's, Colpocleisis, Hysteroscopy's, and Ureteroscopy's; competency in managing a patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics.
• Additional Information: Candidates should be flexible, accountable, timely, and team-oriented. No holiday time off requests will be considered. Must be comfortable with high-stress environments and fast-paced surgical settings. No facility or organization names are included; all references are to the healthcare provider and the facility at Portland, Maine.
