Assistant Manager: Store 3061 – Oceanside, CA 92058 Salary: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour. Full-time position. Responsible for managing restaurant operations with accountability for the Service Profit Chain, Brand Promise, and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Internal Service: Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate employees; maintain staffing levels; implement training systems; develop internal candidates; uphold "My Promise to You" and Service Profit Chain; create a positive restaurant environment; comply with labor laws. External Service: Manage daily activities to deliver guest service excellence; ensure food quality and safety; train employees; respond to guest concerns; maintain brand image; serve as a guest service role model. Higher Profits: Use management information tools to analyze performance; review reports; identify trends; implement action plans; monitor costs and budgets; partner with the Restaurant Manager. Selection & Development: Foster culture, demonstrate integrity, manage conflict, train and coach employees, provide development opportunities, give performance feedback. Guest Focus, Food Quality/Safety, Business Management: Maintain guest focus, food quality, safety, and cleanliness; adapt to change; make decisions; delegate; stay organized. Perform other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required, assigned, or directed. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma/G.E.D. required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred. Experience: Minimum 1 year as Shift Leader or Assistant Manager (internal promotion) and 100% certified in all workstations; or minimum 3 years as Assistant Manager with P&L responsibility (external recruit). Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: At least 18 years old, completed Assistant Manager training, ServSafe certified, competent in English, basic math, analytical, organizational, initiative, computer proficiency, valid driver’s license, vehicle for deposits and travel; integrity and ethical behavior. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, lift 10–65 lbs, move freely, operate equipment, drive vehicle, use computer keyboard.
