Registered Nurse (RN) - Family Medicine (Inpatient)

Role Overview: Provide direct nursing care within various inpatient units, including specialized areas such as Coronary Care, Oncology, Trauma, Neuroscience, and Surgical Units. Lead clinical teams, serve as a role model, and assume relief charge duties to promote a positive work environment and ensure quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, evidence-based patient care across diverse age groups and conditions. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop, implement, and document individualized care plans. Assist with tests, procedures, and emergency measures, ensuring proper documentation and patient safety. Administer medications, including IV therapies, following the Seven Rights, and communicate clinical findings. Participate in orientation, precepting new staff, and ongoing professional development. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment. Promote patient safety by adhering to policies, reporting concerns, and encouraging patient involvement. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Licensed RN in the state of New Mexico or reciprocal licensing. CPR/BLS certification; IV verification within six months. Strong clinical skills, adaptability, and ability to work collaboratively. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, bilingual abilities, and specialty certifications.
