Sr. Device Development Engineer- Product Design

Regeneron seeks a Senior Device Development Engineer to lead the design of specialty drug delivery devices for combination products. The role involves managing development projects from concept through clinical and commercial launch, working with multifunctional teams in East Greenbush, NY.
Responsibilities
- Lead combination product development projects from concept to launch, managing scope, budget, and timeline
- Perform engineering analysis including FEA, tolerance stacking calculations, and design vetting
- Collaborate with program management and multifunctional teams to ensure project success and regulatory compliance
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proposing technical solutions throughout development
- Ensure products meet regulatory standards and performance requirements for safety and efficacy
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Biomedical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in product development or engineering
- Experience with regulated medical devices under Design Control (21 CFR 820 / ISO 13485) and ISO 14971
- Proficiency with Solidworks, CAD, or equivalent software
- Design control, tolerance stacking, and molding/machining expertise
Compensation: $66,200–$143,900 base annually
