Lead Certified Surgical Technologist

The Certified Surgical Technologist III Lead at the Medical University of South Carolina serves as a senior OR technologist and team lead within Healthcare & Medical Services. This role coordinates complex surgical procedures, prepares and manages instruments and supplies, and maintains strict aseptic technique. The Lead CST mentors staff, supports training and onboarding, and collaborates closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality care. At MUSC, you’ll work in an innovative academic health center, contributing to advanced patient care, education, and research in a collaborative, inclusive environment.
