Registered Nurse (RN) Intervention Cardiology Full Time Day

Job Overview Registered Nurse (RN) – Intervention Cardiology – Full Time Day shift at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, Newark, NJ. Provide nursing care for patients in the Intervention Cardiology department, ensuring safe and evidence‑based practice under the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards. Qualifications ASN or Nursing Diploma from a nationally accredited school (required) Strong communication and organizational skills Proficient computer skills BSN from a nationally accredited school (preferred) Minimum 1 year of hospital experience (preferred) Certifications and Licenses Required Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement BLS certification from the American Heart Association Scheduling Requirements Day shift, 36 hours per week Full time – Monday to Friday, every other weekend and holiday rotation Essential Functions Provide nursing care within scope of practice and maintain ethical standards per ANA Code of Ethics. Assure safety in practice and use evidence‑based principles. Report safety issues and medical errors. Maintain knowledge of patient population served. Supervise delegation of tasks and collaborate with care team. Set and evaluate priorities with measurable outcomes for improvement. Utilize nursing process to integrate all aspects of care and individualize plan of care.
