We are currently seeking a highly skilled, diligent, and passionate Permanent Maintenance Technician who will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-paced environment where innovation and quality are highly valued. With your exceptional technical understanding and hands-on experience, you will ensure that our manufacturing equipment and systems are maintained at the highest operational standards.

Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will:

1. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction.
2. Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime and increase operational efficiency.
3. Troubleshoot complex equipment failures both independently and in cooperation with cross-functional teams.
4. Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
5. Maintain detailed records of maintenance, inspection, testing and repair work for future reference.
6. Collaborate closely with other team members and departments to improve processes and ensure safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
7. Stay updated with latest industry trends, techniques, and best practices to continuously improve maintenance procedures.
8. Conduct training sessions for junior technicians to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must possess:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance technician role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven expertise in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairing industrial machinery.
3. Extensive knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
4. Strong electrical skills, with a good understanding of wiring diagrams, planning layouts, and repair of complex electrical equipment.
5. Solid mechanical skills, including proficiency with power tools and hand tools.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong collaboration and communication skills.
8. High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field is preferred.
9. Valid certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is a definite plus.
