Position Overview


As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring manufactured products meet established quality standards throughout the production process. You'll perform inspections, conduct testing, document findings, and work closely with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality concerns before products reach customers.


This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, consistency, and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities

• Inspect components, subassemblies, and finished products for quality and compliance
• Perform visual inspections, measurements, and functional testing
• Identify, document, and report defects or non-conforming materials
• Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions
• Work alongside production and engineering teams to improve manufacturing quality
• Maintain detailed inspection records and quality documentation
• Participate in internal quality audits and process improvement initiatives
• Verify incoming materials meet required specifications
• Follow all quality procedures, safety standards, and manufacturing guidelines

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous quality control or quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong understanding of quality inspection methods and manufacturing processes
• Experience using precision measuring tools and testing equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
