What You'll Do:
- Provide expert neonatal care in a busy 34-bed Level III NICU with diverse case complexity
- Conduct daily rounds and develop patient care plans in collaboration with a high-performing team of neonatologists and NNPs
- Support and oversee 24/7 in-house NNP coverage
- Manage newborn nursery rounds and participate in delivery coverage for approximately 1,500-2,000 annual deliveries
- Deliver care aligned with evidence-based practices, quality improvement initiatives, and multidisciplinary team collaboration
- Contribute to ongoing clinical excellence and neonatal care advancements within a supportive environment
What You Need:
- Valid medical license in Louisiana or ability to obtain licensure
- Board Certification or eligibility/board certification in Neonatology or Pediatrics with Neonatology training
- Recent neonatal care clinical experience preferred or residency completion in Neonatology
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality neonatal care in a high-acuity setting
