We are currently seeking dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our growing team.

As a Registered Behavior Technician , you will work under the ongoing supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to directly implement individualized behavior-analytic services. You will provide pediatric behavioral therapy to clients, support skill development, and reduce challenging behaviors using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping children thrive and who can demonstrate strong professionalism, consistency, and communication.

• Provide direct ABA therapy to children and adolescents with autism and behavioral challenges

• Implement treatment plans and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as developed by the supervising BCBA

• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance clinical knowledge and maintain competency

• Attend regular supervision and training meetings with your BCBA

• Collect and maintain accurate, high-quality data and documentation for all client sessions

• Uphold the exemplary standards of care and ethics established by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

• Communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the client’s care

• Manage a dynamic and complex schedule , demonstrating punctuality and strong time management

Interested in becoming a  Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) but not sure where to start? GATE offers an  RBT Learning Pathway designed to help qualified candidates work toward RBT certification.

Through the GATE RBT Learning Pathway, eligible participants receive  at no cost :

• Access to the 40-hour RBT training through CentralReach Institute
• Support with the RBT competency assessment
• Guidance through the RBT certification process
• Resources to help prepare for the RBT exam
• Support from our RBT Learning Pathway Coordinator throughout the process

No previous RBT certification or ABA experience is required to express interest in the Learning Pathway.

Participants are expected to begin their training within 7 days of receiving access and complete the 40-hour training within 30 days of enrollment .

Please Note: Participation in the GATE RBT Learning Pathway does not guarantee RBT certification or employment with GATE. Employment opportunities are based on current staffing and client needs, qualifications, availability, and successful completion of GATE's hiring requirements.

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (or ability to complete certification prior to start date)

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred

• Experience working with children, especially in behavioral or therapeutic settings, preferred

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Organized, dependable, and passionate about supporting children with autism

• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, patience, and empathy

• Must pass background checks and meet health and safety requirements

• Work under experienced and supportive BCBAs
