We are hiring for a Community Assistant at our River Park property. The Community Assistant plays a crucial role in a positive and supportive living environment for students. You will serve as a key point of contact for residents, contributing to the overall well-being and sense of community within the property.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and posting to the community's social media presence across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
• Organize and assist with community-building activities and events.
• Actively build relationships with residents to foster a strong sense of community and encourage participation in events and social media content.
• Connect with the local student population through campus outreach, partnerships, events and other marketing initiatives
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Outgoing, energetic and comfortable approaching and engaging with students
• Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and current social media trends
• Comfortable speaking and appearing on social media posts
• Able to independently identify content opportunities
• Experience with photo/video editing platforms is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to verbally communicate
• Sitting, walking, standing for long periods of time
• Perform computer based tasks
• Be able to lift up to 15 pounds
• Ability to use hands and arms for writing, typing, lifting, holding, grabbing and pulling
