Inside Sales Representative
Storm Search is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative for a direct-hire opportunity with a manufacturing organization in Hutchins, Texas. This position is ideal for an inside sales or account management professional who excels at building long-term customer relationships, managing strategic accounts, and coordinating across internal teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop strong, long-term relationships with assigned customer accounts
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, responding to needs, questions, and escalations
- Coordinate with engineering, production, quality, service, and other internal teams to meet customer expectations
- Support customer projects from initial requirements through successful delivery
- Develop an in-depth understanding of assigned customers, their businesses, market challenges, and growth opportunities
- Conduct regular customer business reviews and communicate progress on key initiatives
- Lead customer planning and forecasting activities
- Assist with pricing, negotiations, strategy, and other account development activities
- Proactively identify and resolve customer issues while taking ownership through resolution
- Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with customers
- Utilize CRM and ERP systems to maintain accurate customer and account information
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of inside sales and/or strategic account management experience
- Demonstrated experience managing and developing existing B2B customer accounts
- Strong customer relationship management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of customer needs
- Experience coordinating across multiple departments and stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Associate degree or demonstrated education/training toward continued professional development preferred
- Comfortable learning and working within CRM, ERP, and other business systems
Preferred Experience
- Manufacturing, industrial, technical, or distribution industry experience
- Project coordination or project management experience
- Experience with Salesforce
- ERP experience; SAP experience is a plus
- Experience supporting large or strategic customer accounts
- Exposure to forecasting, quoting, order management, and customer business reviews
