Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures, clearly explaining each step with kindness and compassion
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring prompt reporting of any technical issues
• Maintain meticulous documentation of procedures and patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay informed about innovative ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Strong technical competency in sonographic imaging techniques and adept at patient positioning
