You will be responsible for overseeing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting activities over a wide range of material handling and facility equipment to support safe and efficient operations. This role will require a mix of hands-on maintenance work and coordination with vendors to service and maintain our equipment. You will lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians.A Typical DayYou will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on distribution center material handling systems and corrective maintenance on facility equipmentYou will correctly identify and resolve problems with facility and material handling equipmentSupport a safe work environment by addressing equipment related safety concernsDetermine when outside contractor support is needed and coordinates repairs and maintenance work with 3rd partiesAssists with forklift training and maintains OSHA required documentationYou will build effective relationships with 3rd party vendors and work closely with Fulfillment Center leadership team to address operational maintenance and safety issues promptlyMaintain preventive maintenance recordsSupervise and lead maintenance and facilities teamTo Land This OpportunityYou have 3 years of previous experience working with electrical, mechanical systems, hydraulic, pneumatic equipment and able to troubleshoot issuesYou possess the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform 8 hours of standing, bending, lifting, walking, and carrying products in combination at any given timeYou've mastered balancing competing priorities with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlinesExcellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)At Parts Town, we value transparency and are committed to ensuring our team members feel appreciated and supported. The annual salary range for this role is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, equipment, and geographical location. Encompass is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a bonus depending on the role.
