This role focuses on helping students achieve their developmental and educational goals through collaboration with educators, families, and the school community. Responsibilities Schedule / Shift\n \n Contract length: School Year \n Hours per week: 31 \n Shift details: School Day Schedule \n Key Duties\n \n Provides educationally and developmentally-based occupational therapy to support students' individual goals and access to the school environment \n Develop clear and effective therapeutic goals focused on improving student ability to perform daily tasks and achieve greater independence \n Plan, prepare, or carry out individually designed programs of treatment \n Provide timely and clear feedback to students based on targeted goals \n Push-in to facilitate generalization of skills in academic settings \n Maintain accurate records and documentation regarding student sessions, goals and outcomes \n Observe impact of treatment at various stages and adjust care plans to achieve targeted goal \n Communicate with student families via email, conferences, and progress reports \n Collaborates with the school team to determine student needs, supports, accommodations and modifications appropriate to students who receive physical therapy \n Advise student and family in treatment procedures to be continued at home \n Work collaboratively with faculty and therapy team to ensure support student development \n Therapists participate as a part of the staff in responsibilities including chaperoning events, lunch duty, and advisory in Upper School; their participation in the community builds essential relationships \n Other duties as assigned \n Requirements Essential Qualities \n \n Maintains and illustrates high standards of honesty, integrity, and appropriate confidentiality in interactions with colleagues, students, and parents/guardians \n Appreciation for the school’s mission, in particular its inclusive learning environment and commitment to social justice \n A desire and eagerness to make a difference in the schoolto contribute time and talent outside of therapy sessions to the growth of students and to the broader work and life of the school \n Strong written and verbal communication skills \n The ability to collaborate as a part of a team, flexibility, and a sense of humor \n Required Qualifications \n \n Master’s degree \n Preferred Qualifications \n \n Experience in a school-based setting \n Doctorate of Occupational Therapy \n Licenses & Certifications\n \n Valid NH State OT License \n Benefits Per Diem / Temporary (Hourly) Roles \n \n Comprehensive benefits that include medical, dental, and vision \n Company-paid Basic Life/AD&D and Long-Term Disability for employees working 30 hours/week \n Paid sick leave may be available based on hours worked and state laws \n Benefit offerings are subject to legal requirements, eligibility status, and work location \n Employees 21 can participate in the 401(k) Savings Plan \n About Us RCM Healthcare Services works with professionals across schools, healthcare, and community-based settings nationwide.
