Step into a meaningful role supporting students as a paraprofessional for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. This full-time opportunity, running from August through May, offers the chance to make a significant difference in the lives of students with a wide range of abilities and needs. You’ll be part of a collaborative educational environment, working closely with both classroom teachers and individual students.

In this position, you’ll engage with learners aged 3–21, including those on the autism spectrum and others requiring behavioral support. Your work will empower students to reach their goals, whether you’re assisting in a classroom setting or providing one-on-one guidance.

We’re seeking strong communicators with a genuine passion for helping others succeed in an educational setting.

Qualifications:

• Current PEL (Professional Educator License) or Paraprofessional Certificate required
• Experience working with students with autism or behavioral challenges preferred
• Comfortable assisting students with a range of disabilities and age groups
• Reliable, patient, and team-oriented
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and support staff
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide both classroom-wide and individualized academic and behavioral support
• Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and adapting activities as needed
• Foster a positive, respectful atmosphere for all students
• Support students’ emotional and social development
• Monitor and record student progress, behavior, and milestones
• Offer encouragement and guidance throughout the school day

This position features a consistent Monday–Friday schedule totaling 32 hours per week throughout the academic year. Full details about the assignment and school placement will be shared during your interview.
