The Truck Dispatcher will manage towing fleet operations by coordinating drivers, maintaining clear communication, and ensuring accurate record keeping. Working with a small team of 1-5 drivers, the dispatcher will utilize Towbook software to efficiently assign tows and track fleet activities. The role demands flexibility in working hours and involves direct customer communication to provide timely and effective service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate towing drivers and assign tasks using Towbook software
• Manage communication between dispatchers, drivers, and customers
• Maintain accurate records of towing activities and driver statuses
• Provide direct customer support and updates during service calls
• Ensure timely dispatch and resolution of transportation requests

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in logistics or transportation
• Proficient with transportation software, specifically Towbook
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Effective problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
• Ability to multitask and manage stress in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Logistics or Transportation
