Actalent is hiring medical assistants in Fleming Island. The responsibilities include collecting patient demographics and updating electronic health records, triaging patients based on their symptoms and medical history, assisting healthcare providers with medical procedures and patient care, performing front desk duties, taking and recording vital signs, ensuring a clean and organized work environment, and providing excellent customer service.

Essential skills include 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced clinic, medical assistant diploma or certification, proficiency in using electronic medical records and medical terminology, strong understanding of healthcare procedures, and Basic Life Support certification.

The work environment involves working onsite at a primary care clinic, handling 20-30 patients a day, and the work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm.

The pay range for this position is $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
