We are seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain software applications and systems. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of software development principles, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and system-level solutions.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Troubleshoot software and system issues and implement appropriate fixes or enhancements.
- Research and evaluate software technologies, tools, and solutions to support business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams, stakeholders, and customers to resolve issues and deliver quality solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow software development and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Strong verbal, written communication, problem-solving, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time and priorities.
- Understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Basic knowledge of software development, computer hardware, and operating systems.
- Experience with development and database technologies such as SQL, Visual Basic, or similar programming tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement system changes as needed.
