Prep Cook - Part Time

Job Summary: We are seeking a dependable and organized Prep Cook to assist with food preparation and kitchen organization. The Prep Cook is responsible for preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting kitchen operations to ensure efficient food service. This is a temporary position with up to 20 hours per week. Key Responsibilities: Prepare ingredients including chopping, slicing, portioning, and mixing Assist cooks with food preparation and kitchen setup Label, stock, and organize food items and supplies Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of prep stations and kitchen areas Assist with receiving and storing deliveries properly Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and food safety standards Support kitchen staff during busy service periods Complete opening and closing prep duties as assigned Qualifications: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and multitasking skills Attention to detail and cleanliness Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Ability to stand for extended periods and lift supplies as needed Previous kitchen or prep experience preferred, but not required Schedule: Temporary position Up to 20 hours per week Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Work Environment: Fast-paced kitchen setting Frequent exposure to kitchen equipment and food preparation areas Requires standing for extended periods and repetitive food prep tasks #J-18808-Ljbffr La Cosecha IV LLC
