Description This is a high-visibility, business-facing Sr. BSA / emerging Product Owner role embedded onsite with DEPCOM Power. This individual will act as the face of IT to the business, partnering across all levels (including executive leadership) to: Translate business needs into technology solutions Evaluate and optimize a large SaaS ecosystem Bring structure and prioritization to a growing backlog of initiatives This is a strategic, relationship-driven role focused on problem-solving, influence, and execution What They Actually Need (Hiring Drivers) KES is looking for someone who can: Build trust quickly with stakeholders across the organization (from field teams to the President) Operate as a self-directed IT partner onsite (minimal day-to-day oversight) Bring clarity and structure to a large, unorganized backlog (~25+ initiatives) Evaluate and recommend technology solutions (primarily SaaS) aligned to business priorities Move initiatives from: o Problem Requirements Solution Implementation Adoption The biggest gap in previous candidates: Strong technical skill but lacking communication, confidence, and business presence Core Responsibilities Business Partnership / Stakeholder Engagement Act as the primary IT liaison onsite for business stakeholders Build relationships across: o Executive leadership (including President) o Project managers o Field operations teams Problem Solving & Solutioning Gather and define business needs and problem statements Develop: o Objectives o Value propositions o Requirements Conduct solution evaluation and market/vendor research (SaaS tools) Present recommendations and alternatives to stakeholders Technology & Initiative Execution Support: o SaaS implementations o System enhancements (ERP, integrations, automation) o Technology rationalization / optimization Work across a diverse range of initiatives (new tools, sunset efforts, AI use cases) Backlog & Product Ownership (Evolving Responsibility) Initially: o Execute on prioritized backlog items Over time: o Take ownership of backlog refinement and planning o Influence prioritization and roadmap discussions Role is expected to evolve into a Product Owner / Product Lead capacity Process Improvement & Adoption Drive system/process improvements across the business Ensure successful adoption and long-term value realization Align technology decisions with business priorities Tech Environment Primarily SaaS-based ecosystem (integration-focused) ERP: Vista Project tracking: Azure DevOps (ADO) Limited data/analytics responsibility (dedicated team supports this) Skills stakeholder management, communication & people skills, Business analysis, Requirements gathering, saas implementation, vendor selection, erp system, erp implementation, AI initiatives Top Skills Details stakeholder management, communication & people skills, Business analysis, Requirements gathering Additional Skills & Qualifications Nice-to-Haves 1.
