Details Emergency Department setting with 64 patient care areas High-volume unit seeing 250 patients daily RN to patient ratio of 4:1 with ED Techs on staff 3x12 day shift schedule, 7a-7p 36 hours per week Weekend and holiday rotation required Requirements Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or Compact) required BLS certification required ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred No prior nursing experience required, though preferred Additional Information Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document in accordance with scope of practice and hospital policy Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge activities including discharge teaching and coordination with Case Management Deliver patient and family-centered education and individualized treatment planning Delegate and oversee patient care activities performed by other team members Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities including patient satisfaction, falls, and infection prevention measures Promote a positive, healing environment through nursing excellence and evidence-based practice First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-750558.
