Interacts with the dining room guests, fellow team members, and supervisors in a polite, courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality.Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:Anticipate and accommodate the needs of the guestsMaintain general cleanliness of assigned stations and the entire venueProvides professional and exceptional servicePresents menus, answers questions and make suggestions for all food and beverage itemsInforms guests of all food and beverage specials, with pricesRequired to solicit any allergy or dietary restrictions from each guestAccurately enter all orders into the POS system and follows proper cash/payment card proceduresEnsures the delivery of all food and beverage to the guestsFollow supervisor's instructions, communicate with and support co-workers while being a team playerPossesses in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage menus and the companyServes all beverages in accordance with all state regulations and alcohol awareness training standardsComplies with Department of Health and company sanitation standardsWorks as part of a team and provides help and support to all fellow team membersAccurately completes all end-of-shift financial proceduresCommunicates the needs of the guests to Front-of-House and Heart-of-House support staff, managers, and chefsProperly sets-up floor and other opening/closing procedures as directed by management, including:Ensures all tables, chairs and banquettes are clean and free of debrisSets tables with proper settingsWipes down chairs, tables, and banquettesStocks side-stations with prescribed suppliesCompletes opening duties as assigned or directedCompletes closing duties as assigned or directedReports all breakage, and damage of equipment or furniture immediately to managementAttends and participates in daily pre-service meetingsAttends and participates in any training sessions or departmental meetingsLearn by listening, observing other team members, and sharing knowledge while leading by examplePortrays a positive and professional attitudeDemonstrates knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality, its partners, and supporting hotel environmentsWorks as part of a team and provides help and support to all fellow team membersAssist and/or complete additional tasks as assignedTraining requirements:Tao Group Hospitality in-venue dining room Server trainingEducation/working knowledge:Minimum 2 years server experience or equivalent related Tao Group Hospitality experience requiredMinimum 2 years of food and beverage experience requiredExperience in Fine Dining preferredExperience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/loungeComprehensive knowledge of classic cocktails requiredBasic familiarity with wine varietals and classic regions around the world requiredSkills / Physical Demands / Work Environment / Schedule:The work environment characteristics and/or physical demands described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
