As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and skilled professional to help sustain our future.Assistant Pre-Construction ManagerAs a Pre-Construction Manager, you will be at the heart of the early project stages, helping drive a smooth process from initial bids to project submittals. Your knowledge and coordination skills will help set the foundation for successful commercial glazing projects. You will help to ensure that our projects stay on track financially while supporting safe work practices and regulatory compliance. We are looking for a candidate who is eager to dive into technical details, collaborate across teams, and help cultivate a positive culture throughout the company.Key Responsibilities· Understand the intricacies of glass and glazing products.· Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project scope.· Assist in takeoffs and preparing estimates for potential projects.· Support the submittal process for active projects, including shop drawings and fabrication documentation.· Confirm timely delivery of materials and supplies.· Review all glass orders for their projects before release.· Coordinate with the fabrication department by reviewing and communicating fabrication instructions before release.· Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with building codes and manufacturer installation requirements.What We are Looking For· Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.· 0–2 years' experience as an estimator with a glazing contractor or at least 1 year as a lead glazier or glazing superintendent.· A solid grasp of commercial construction estimation is a plus.· Valid driver's license and ability to travel. What We OfferAt Palmetto State Glass, we believe in bringing out the best in people by fostering a positive culture through supportive relationships, an exceptional workplace, competitive benefits, career development, and continuous improvement, staying at the forefront of technology to provide the best viable solutions.Relocation assistance for well-qualified candidates coming from out of state.
