Delivery Specialist - Hub

Compensation Pay Range $16.90 - $24.90 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premium payments in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Deliver parts or products to O’Reilly stores and the distribution center safely and efficiently. Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores or distribution center. Must have a legal required state driver’s license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements. Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on a set route and deliver to the appropriate store. Maintain a daily city route manifest for deliveries. Keep fleet/fuel card, vehicle, and keys secure. Be familiar with accident report guidelines. Ensure a designated team member at each store verifies all invoices and signs the route manifest. Deliveries must adhere to the set schedule; report any delays to the city delivery supervisor and/or remaining stores. Project a professional and personable image to maintain good customer relations. Communicate any problems or special needs from stores to store management. Clock in/out according to company policy. Check fluid levels (oil, radiator, transmission, etc.) and log mileage before operating the vehicle each day. Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to the store manager. Ensure the fuel tank is filled, lock and secure the vehicle at the end of the day's business. Drive safely and defensively. SKILLS, EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, ABILITIES Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences. Good interpersonal communication skills. Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations. Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
