Project Manager (Mechanical Engineer)

Location: Westwego, Louisiana

Duration: 1-Year Contract (with possible extension)

Overview:

Seeking an experienced Project Manager / Mechanical Engineer to support projects within a petrochemical or refinery environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working inside operating facilities and managing mechanical projects from planning through execution.

Key Qualifications:

Mechanical Engineering background with Project Management experience
Prior experience in the petrochemical, chemical manufacturing, or refinery industry
Experience working within active plant environments ("inside the gates")
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, construction, and maintenance projects
Ability to coordinate with operations, engineering, contractors, and stakeholders
Flare system experience highly preferred
Excellent communication and project execution skills

This role is ideal for a mechanical engineering professional with plant experience who can effectively manage projects while maintaining safety, quality, and schedule expectations.
