Senior Project Manager

Senior Project Manager I and IIMortenson is currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager I or II to join our Solar group and provide overall leadership direction to one large project or multiple projects to include the management of project quality, timeliness, safety, as well as mentoring the project team. You will develop and improve customer relationships by providing excellent service. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary as you will be interacting with staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment. Your ability to remain flexible, inventive, dedicated, and efficient with a high level of integrity and confidentiality is vital to your success.This position offers opportunities at both levels 1 and 2, allowing candidates to apply based on their experience and qualifications. Compensation for this role is determined based on factors such as experience and location.Responsibilities:Supervise overall financial health of projectsDevelop and maintain project financial and equipment projectionsAllocate project estimates into the financial system, determine cost codes, approve invoicesProvide financials and billings to accounting, create monthly owner billingsHandle subcontracts and suppliers, manage budget and selectionsLead Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, provide job assignments and trainingFunction as main point of contact with owner and on-site representativeResolve site concerns, handle change orders, and obtain necessary approvalsMaintain schedule and budget, manage quality, risk, safety, and complianceQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent experienceAbility to fulfill responsibilities for multiple, large complex projectsActive listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedbackPossess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practicesMicrosoft Office, project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate levelPositive professional attitude, and strong customer service skillsAbility to interpret and communicate Mortenson policiesCurrent driver's licenseAbility to travel up to 100%Senior Project Manager IMinimum 8 years of construction management/project management or related experienceThe base pay range for this role is $144,300- $216,500Senior Project Manager IIMinimum 10 years of construction management or related experienceThe base pay range for this role is $158,900 - $238,400(Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
