This role evaluates contractual risk transfer requirements, recommends edits aligned with company standards, and partners with Legal and business stakeholders to address insurance-related contractual requirements. The position also supports contract administration activities, issuance of AMN certificates of insurance, and provides day-to-day operational support to the Risk Management team.Job ResponsibilitiesContract Review & Insurance SupportReview client contracts, master service agreements (MSAs), statements of work (SOWs), and related documents to identify insurance provisionsEvaluate contractual risk transfer requirements and ensure alignment with company risk management policies, insurance programs, and operational capabilities.Identify non-standard or high-risk requirements and recommend practical edits aligned with company standardsServe as a subject matter expert on insurance requirements, including general liability, professional liability, cyber liability, workers’ compensation, auto liability, and umbrella/excess coverage.Draft, revise, and maintain standard insurance and risk management contract language, playbooks, and negotiation guidelines.Partner with Legal, Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to facilitate timely insurance and risk-related contract terms as needed.Support contract administration activities, including tracking review status, organizing documentation, and managing intake through shared workflows or systemsProvide guidance and training to internal stakeholders regarding contractual risk transfer and insurance requirements.Certificate of Insurance (COI) SupportSupport issuance of AMN Certificates of Insurance (COIs) to clientsAssist with gathering insurance documentation and renewal data as neededMaintain organized records of COI requests and supporting documentationOperational & Team SupportTriage shared inbox requests and respond to internal and external inquiries related to insurance documentationProvide administrative and operational support across risk management programsAssist with maintaining accurate records across systems and trackersProcess & Risk SupportIdentify patterns or trends in contract requirements and escalate insights to leadershipSupport process improvements across contract review and COI workflowsPartner with cross-functional teams to maintain consistency in risk and insurance practicesKey QualificationsExperienceBachelor’s Degree plus 3–6 years of relevant experience in risk management, insurance, or contract reviewOR High School Diploma/GED plus 7-9 years of relevant experience in risk management, insurance, or contract reviewDirect experience reviewing insurance provisions in client or vendor contractsInsurance KnowledgeBackground in commercial lines insuranceSkillsAbility to interpret insurance policies and apply coverage concepts to contractual obligationsAbility to identify non-standard requirements and recommend clear, practical editsStrong attention to detail and sound judgmentClear communication skills, with the ability to explain insurance concepts to non-insurance audiencesOrganized and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience in healthcare, staffing, or professional services environmentsAbility to identify trends across contracts and flag emerging risksExperience working with insurance brokers (e.g., quotes, endorsements, coverage feasibility)Pay Rate$73,000 - $86,500 SalaryFinal pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location. #J-18808-Ljbffr AMN Healthcare
