Position Overview We invite a dedicated and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of imaging experts who provide unparalleled care. You will employ cutting-edge ultrasound technology to execute diagnostic procedures, work closely with a collaborative group of healthcare professionals, and offer peace of mind to patients through timely, accurate imaging. Key Responsibilities Include
- Perform diverse ultrasound exams such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, articulating each step with empathy and precision
- Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure top-tier diagnostic imaging
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment efficiently, promptly reporting any technical issues
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and manage patient records within our electronic medical system
- Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a similar field
- Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent organization
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
- Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and effective patient positioning
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capacity to work autonomously as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
