Inventory Analyst

Execute and maintain all inventory transactions in SAP and WMS, including receipts, transfers, adjustments, returns, and replenishments, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity. Perform daily audits and reconcile discrepancies between system records. Investigate inventory variances through root cause analysis and coordinate corrective actions with operations, quality, and customer teams. Maintain alignment between SAP and WMS inventory records to ensure data consistency across platforms. Monitor inventory levels, aging inventory, and stock conditions. Develop, analyze, and distribute inventory reports with interpretation, trend considerations, and action items noted. Assist with a variety of internal projects and inspections, provides professional guidance and information, and recommends appropriate solutions. Support inbound and outbound processes by validating system transactions against physical movement of goods. Coordinate with receiving, picking, and shipping teams to ensure proper SKU placement, storage accuracy, and inventory flow. Manage customer returns (RMA) processes, including system transactions, disposition, and reconciliation. Ensure proper handling, documentation, and disposition of damaged, obsolete, or non-conforming inventory. Maintain SAP master data related to inventory, including material and storage location accuracy. Serve as a customer contact for all product-related quality and provide information related to customer claims. Ensure compliance with department policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Other applicable duties assigned by management. Requirements High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain environment required Experience with SAP (WM, MM, or equivalent) and/or warehouse management systems (WMS) required Strong working knowledge of inventory control practices, including cycle counting, reconciliation, and root cause analysis Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ability to analyze and report data effectively Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with competing priorities Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across operations, customers, and support teams Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Willingness to work extended hours as needed Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in inventory control and warehouse management, with a strong focus on data accuracy and system integrity using SAP and WMS.
