Take Pride In Your Career Senior Laboratory Technologist - Central Labs - Days Take the next step in your career and join the team as a Senior Laboratory Technologist in the Central Laboratory working in our Chemistry and Hematology sections. In addition to technical responsibilities, you will assume some supervision and coordination of the activities of the laboratory personnel in the performance of qualitative and quantitative tests. You will be able to train and guide laboratory technologists, participate in problem‑solving processes, and maintain quality assurance and quality control standards, among other responsibilities. This is a full‑time day shift position 8:00 am-4:00 pm including rotating weekends and holidays located at NewYork‑Presbyterian Weill Cornell campus. Preferred Criteria ASCP certification Required Criteria A minimum of two years of experience. A Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology (or equivalent experience). New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York Education department. Please note that all roles require on‑site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
