Childcare Teacher

Position: Early Childhood Teacher Position Description: The Early Childhood Teacher is responsible for providing a nurturing, knowledgeable, and qualified presence in the classroom. They are directly responsible for teaching children according to the curriculum approved by the Director. Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old for infants and toddlers High School diploma or GED Meet the Colorado state requirements for Early Childhood Teachers Submit fingerprints and undergo background checks Certified in CPR, First Aid, and Standard Precautions Responsibilities: Plan, implement, and evaluate learning experiences for children and activities sponsored by Victory Montessori and Childcare Center Collaborate with staff and church agencies as required Model and teach appropriate behavior, courtesy, and dress Show genuine interest in children, providing fair, impartial guidance with appropriate humor, while maintaining a professional demeanor Post lesson plans visibly for parents Monitor the number of children in care at all times Follow all regulations from the Colorado Department of Health, State regulations, and local authorities Attend staff meetings and training sessions as scheduled *Starting pay ranges from $17.50 to $20 per hour For more information, contact Theresa Fisher at View email address on click.appcast.io or call View phone number on click.appcast.io.
