Job Title

Travel RN – ICU (Cardiac Neuro ICU), Night Shift

Location

Wichita, KS | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed Cardiac Neuro ICU with a typical census of 20–24 patients at a 1:2 ratio, with occasional 1:1 and 1:3 assignments
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including Impella, balloon pumps, CRRT, TTM post-code, and EVDs
• Manage complex cardiac and neurological patients including those undergoing heart catheterizations (STEMI/NSTEMI), cardioversion, thrombectomy, and coiling procedures
• Administer and titrate medication drips including vasoactives, sedatives, and paralytics, as well as manage central lines and arterial lines
• Participate in mandatory bedside shift reports and multidisciplinary rounds (MDRs)
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid for practice in Kansas
• Minimum 1 year of current hospital ICU experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Neuro ICU experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Previous travel experience in large facility ICU settings
