Director, Legal Counsel (Remote - U.S. | EST/CST)

The role reports to the General Counsel.Responsibilities include:Negotiate agreements with customers.Develop customer-centric solutions to ensure both legal compliance is achieved and internal and external customer needs are satisfied.Supporting business operations and providing direction and counsel regarding compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and staying abreast of laws, legislative developments and developing external trends.About you:EDUCATION:Juris Doctorate degree (or equivalent) from an ABA accredited law school Licensed in good standing to practice law in at least one StateEXPERIENCE:15+ years’ experience (10+ prior inhouse counsel experience required)Current member of the bar or able to be admitted to the inhouse counsel bar.Experience negotiating and drafting service agreements, license agreements, subcontracts, marketing agreements, real estate leases, non-disclosure agreements, confidentiality agreements and consulting agreementsExperience supporting operations outside of the United StatesKNOWLEDGE & SKILL:Strong oral and written communication skills.Demonstrated ability to successfully build relationships and work with cross-functional teams.
