Systems Engineer

Overview:

We are currently hiring an Electrical Engineer/Systems Engineer in Newport News, VA. This is a full time position that will be set up as a long term, multi year contract. This position is focused more on facilities and infrastructure.

Description:

• Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.

• Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.

• Network design and implementations.

• Outside Plant and Inside Plant cabling.

• Develop scope of work.

Qualifications:

• US Citizenship.

• BS Degree in Engineering (ABET)

• 2 years of relevant experience.

• Understanding the types of network cables.

• Troubleshooting skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.

This is a Contract position based out of Newport News, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
