We’re seeking an experienced Director of Quality Improvement to provide strategic and operational leadership for hospital-wide quality, performance improvement, patient safety, and accreditation initiatives.

This is a key leadership role working closely with hospital leadership, physicians, medical staff, and regulatory agencies to build a strong Culture of Safety, improve patient outcomes, and maintain continuous survey readiness.

What You’ll Lead

Provide hospital-wide leadership for Quality and Performance Improvement programs.

Develop and implement quality, patient safety, and performance improvement strategies aligned with organizational goals.

Lead initiatives focused on patient outcomes, safety, clinical quality, and regulatory compliance.

Oversee quality data management, reporting, integrity, validity, and reliability.

Partner with Medical Staff and hospital leadership to promote evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Serve as a key liaison with The Joint Commission, CMS, and other regulatory agencies.

Oversee continuous survey readiness and accreditation activities.

Lead and support the Quality/Performance Improvement team and department.

Promote the effective use of performance improvement methodologies throughout the organization.

Ensure compliance with applicable HIPAA requirements, policies, and procedures.

What We’re Looking For

Active RN license required.

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in nursing or another inpatient-care-related field.

5+ years of Quality Assurance / Performance Improvement experience.

CPHQ certification, or eligibility to sit for the CPHQ exam within two years of employment.

Strong experience with hospital quality, patient safety, performance improvement, accreditation, and regulatory readiness.

Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, clinical leaders, and hospital executives.
