We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing in our Future Grids portfolio to create the power distribution grid of the future. Position Mechanical Quality Inspector – 1st shift, Wendell, NC facility. Shift Hours

6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Hourly Rate $22.46 per hour Key Responsibilities Perform in-process inspection mechanical duties. Inspect each product to company Quality Standards and given guidelines. Review specifications and drawings to ensure that products have been built correctly on the assembly line. Troubleshoot equipment failure and implement corrective action. Prepare and maintain inspection and quality reports. Work with production and engineering teams during the inspection process and report any findings. Adhere to developed processes, methods and seek ways to improve. Must adhere to all safety rules and keep safety first for self and others. Perform miscellaneous other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management. Basic Qualifications 1+ year of prior work experience with production & inspection. 1+ years of experience working with torque wrenches and torque verifications. Strong analytical skills to perform point‑to‑point or sequence‑of‑operation checks. Experience working with various types of inspection tools and knowledge of product drawings. Ability to read and work with schematic drawings/layouts/wire lists, including circuit troubleshooting, and basic computer skills. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Legally authorized to work in the United States with no need for employer‑sponsored visa. Preferred Qualifications High school or GED. Experience working with SAP, Salesforce and SieOps. Advanced knowledge of 3D models and engineering drawings. Compliance with Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policies and continuous improvement of the Management System outcomes.
