Travel-Certified Surgical Technologist
An exciting opportunity is available for a Travel-Certified Surgical Technologist. This position is aimed at delivering exceptional surgical support in a fast-paced operating room environment. Candidates are required to be flexible and adapt to various surgical procedures across multiple specialties.

Assignment Details
- Shift: 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- Work Schedule: 3 times per week
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
On-Call and Weekend Rotations
Participants will rotate weekend on-call duties approximately every four weeks. The call will be utilized to address staffing shortages during evening and night shifts from Monday to Thursday. Every effort will be made to ensure that the total work hours, including call, do not exceed 60 hours per week.
Typical Procedures Performed
- Burn: Wound debridement, skin grafting, dressing changes for high acuity patients primarily from ICU
- Dental: Restoration and oral maxillofacial procedures
- ENT: Tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, parathyroidectomy, cochlear implants
- Gastroenterology: Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), colonoscopy
- General Surgery: A wide range of general surgical procedures
- Gynecology: Ablation, vaginal and abdominal hysterectomies
- Neurosurgery: Stealth guidance surgeries, spinal fusions, discectomy, craniotomy
- Cardiac Surgery: Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), femoral-popliteal bypass, fistula creation
- Ophthalmology: Vitrectomy, cataract extraction, corneal transplantation
- Orthopedics: Trauma management, total joint replacements, sports medicine procedures
- Plastic Surgery: Breast augmentation and reconstruction techniques
- Psychiatry: Electroconvulsive therapy
- Robotic Surgery: Robotic-assisted surgeries in gynecology, general surgery, and urology
- Trauma Surgery: Damage control resuscitative surgeries spanning neuro, orthopedic, and general surgery
- Urology: Cystoscopy, transurethral resection of bladder (TURB), transurethral resection of prostate (TURP), stents
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
