RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Focus on cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) with mixed ICU overflow patients
• 3 years of experience required with at least 2 years as staff CVICU nurse
• Float to all areas including emergency department as needed
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Weekend coverage required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CALS
• Must obtain 16-hour Maryland approved trauma certification by week 27
• Maryland or compact nursing license required at time of submission
• Experience with specialized equipment including ECMO, ventilators, arterial lines, Swan Ganz monitoring, IABP, and ventricular assist devices
• Care for post-cardiac surgery patients, manage cardiac drips, and perform advanced cardiovascular procedures
• Complete virtual modules on first day of contract (8 hours for new starts, 115 minutes annually for ICU RN)
• Maximum assignment length of 365 days with required 6-month separation period before returning
