Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Telemetry to join our team for a 13-week contract in San Antonio, TX. This position will involve both day and night shifts, with rotating weekend duties.

Unit Highlights

• Unit: ICCU (Telemetry)
• Shift Details: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Floating Policy: As needed

Qualifications

• Required Skills:
• 2+ years of Telemetry experience
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• 2+ years of travel nursing experience
• Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Meditech documentation system
• Licensure: Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses are not accepted)

Procedures Performed on Unit

• TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiogram)
• Cardioversion
• Charting with Meditech

Dress Code

• Scrub Color: Navy scrub top and pant, Navy or white scrub jacket
• Nail Policy: Clean and healthy
• Hair: Should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors
• Facial Hair: Beards, mustaches, and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed
• Tattoos: Body art should be covered whenever possible
• Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
