Legal Assistant

Founded 40+ years ago, this is a national litigation law firm, with over 200 attorneys, that provides legal services to businesses, insurance companies, and other organizations across a wide range of industries. Role As the Legal Assistant/Paralegal, you will be responsible for providing support to attorneys and clients, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, organizing and maintaining case files, and assisting with administrative tasks. Responsibilities Schedule appointments, meetings, court dates, and conference calls. Drafting legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, and correspondence Prepare, proofread, format, and distribute legal correspondence and documents. Maintain and organize physical and electronic client files. Manage attorney calendars and deadlines. Qualifications Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 1+ years of administrative experience; law firm or legal office experience required. Litigation experience required. Strong eFiling experience required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Experience with legal case management or document management software is a plus. Base Salary: $60-65k+, commensurate with experience. Additional Compensation: Annual performance-based bonus.
