What You'll Do

As a Hygiene Dental Assistant, you'll play an essential role in supporting our dental hygienists, keeping appointments running smoothly, and creating a comfortable, positive experience for every patient. Your responsibilities will include: Assist dental hygienists with daily clinical operations and patient care

Prepare and turn over hygiene treatment rooms between appointments

Set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed for hygiene procedures

Take dental X-rays in accordance with certification requirements

Sterilize instruments and follow proper infection control and safety protocols

Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable throughout their visits

Support patient education on oral hygiene and preventive dental care

Maintain accurate patient records and assist with clinical documentation

Keep hygiene treatment rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked

Help maintain efficient patient flow and support the hygiene team's daily schedule

Collaborate with hygienists, dentists, and other team members to provide high-quality, patient-centered care

What We're Looking For

Previous dental assisting experience

Current dental X-ray certification, as required by state regulations

Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and sterilization techniques

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment

A dependable, positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

A passion for providing excellent patient care

Willingness to learn, grow, and develop professionally
