TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Greensboro, North Carolina, 27401!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: EKG exam required during onboarding Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse with a focus on medical/surgical and telemetry. The primary patient population will be medical surgical. Nurses will work 3 shifts of 12 hours on days. Floating to other facilities may be required based on patient census. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. First-time travelers are accepted. BLS certification is required. An EKG exam must be passed during onboarding. Patient diagnoses include respiratory conditions, general medical/surgical conditions, palliative care, and psychiatric observation. Experience in observation and management of diabetes is desired. Charge nurse experience is preferred. The average daily patient census is 16, with a focus on adult and geriatric patients. Patient ratios during the day will be approximately 6 patients per nurse. The unit will support interdisciplinary collaboration with various healthcare teams. Candidates should have proficiency in EPIC charting. Skills in dysrhythmia interpretation and management are beneficial. Travelers may be floated based on unit needs.
