Cost Management Branch Chief
General Services Administration
Duties
Responsible for directing, managing, and coordinating cost management activities for complex professional, technical, and/or administrative projects and programs relating to property management, realty services, design and construction, physical security activities, and the needs of designated customer Federal agencies. Projects include multi-million dollar modernization, repair and alteration, construction, and leased facility projects.
Develops and directs the analysis and evaluation of complex cost management projects and activities in terms of operational procedures, organization, workflow, overall effectiveness.
Determines cost management standards and controls, assures achievement of established cost management goals, and develops and executes procedures to improve program execution.
Provides advice and interpretation of policies, regulations, and procedures governing acquisition activities within the framework of agency policies, and applicable laws and regulations.
Plans and organizes work for subordinates by setting and adjusting priorities, coordinating workload, assigning tasks, providing advice and instruction, and evaluating and developing performance standards.
