Facility Maintenance Technician

Preform Solutions, Inc., a leading manufacturer in the packaging industry with over 25 years of experience, is seeking a dedicated Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team in Sioux Falls, SD.

Responsibilities

• Work both autonomously and with management to identify facility maintenance needs
• Complete facility projects such as painting, patching holes, changing light bulbs etc.
• Some cleaning duties in accordance with company food safety regulations
• May assist equipment maintenance team with preventative projects such as changing filters, as needed
• Light repair work like changing out fixtures, minor plumbing repairs, etc.

Qualifications

• Ability to use Ladder and scissor-lift (with proper training) as needed to complete projects
• Strong knowledge of hand tools
• Experience with building maintenance preferred
• Previous home/building repair experience preferred
• Previous HVAC experience
• High mechanical ability
• Ability to multi-task and switch between projects quickly
• Strong communication skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Able to stay on task to see project from start to finish
• Ability to work autonomously
• Ability to stand/walk on concrete surfaces for extended periods of time

Compensation

Starting pay for this position is $27.00-37.00/hour depending on experience

Hours
Hours for this position will be Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
